Restaurants | French Laundry | Ju-Ni | State Bird Provisions

While visiting California last year, I had that great pleasure of dining at three Michelin Star restaurants.

French Laundry - Classical French fare executed to perfection. Named “Best Restaurant in the World" in 2003 and 2004. The customer service was absolutely incredible. My favorite dish was the “Oysters and Pearls” - “sabayon” of pearl tapioca with island creek oysters and white sturgeon caviar. Three stars. https://www.thomaskeller.com/tfl

Ju-Ni - Omakase style sushi. Essentially a sushi tasting menu. One sushi chef per four people, served at a counter. Our chef was personable and insightful while explaining various types of fish. Memorable and exciting. Shout-out to the couple next to us that recommended we visit Arsicault Bakery in SF (chocolate croissants are a must). One star. https://www.junisf.com/

State Bird Provisions - American dishes served dim-sum style. Watch as the servers walk around offering intriguing plates. Say yes or no, if yes, check the box on the menu and pay when you’re done! One star. https://statebirdsf.com/
